  • Catholic Middle Leadership Programme

The Catholic Middle Leadership Programme (CMLP) is designed for current and aspiring middle leaders who seek to deepen their leadership skills while remaining rooted in the mission of the Church.

The programme is structured to include 3 single-day conferences including a residential event; one gathering per term.

The inter-diocesan and cross-phase nature of the programme is one of the features appreciated by the participants. In addition, those that are in the early stages of their leadership role get to work with serving school leaders and other external professionals who support the programme, as well as diocesan and training partnership staff. This brings both formal and informal opportunities for career advice and guidance and is highly valued by those on the course.

The key purpose of the course is to enable middle leaders to develop a deeper understanding of Catholic identity, mission and vocation and the distinctive nature of Catholic leadership in a rapidly changing educational landscape and how their role is key in embodying the mission and vision of Catholic education across the departments, teams or phases that they lead. .

Throughout the programme, participants will be offered opportunities for faith formation and reflection, allowing them to deepen their understanding of their Catholic identity and their role in the school community.

We are privileged to work with leading National Catholic leaders and theologians and serving Catholic leaders from across the North west who share how they lead, inspire and deliver a Catholic education that enables all those in their school community to flourish.
